Back On Their Game (Minor Lost Spoiler Alert)

The last few months/year in my opinion the "Lost" writers have lost the thread (no pun intended). The show had evolved to a point where it seemed disjointed, and as my mental list of unreconciled loose ends grew I was getting to a point where it was hard to watch.

I went into last night's episode with low expectations and I have to say my mind got blown. Maybe it was the trifecta of dramatic screams coming from Holly, Kristin, and SJ (in unison). Maybe it was that coffee ice cream dessert Holly made, but I loved last night's episode, and never dreamed I would feel empathetic toward Ben. It was the first time I've felt glad that they were extending the show for a few more seasons. Given it wasn't without it's hiccups. As Nathan pointed out the cgi on the smoke monster didn't look so great, and there were some other small issues, but overall if felt like a return to the old days. Here's hoping they can keep it going.

I know! I know! We were DYING. This season is right up there with season one. They finally got their shiz together. Maybe it's all the time off the writers had on strike...

Love you guys!

Q: You know what show never had hiccups? A:Battlestar Galactica!
You know you need to catch up, cause season 4 is for reals (just like the rest of em').

I am not allowed to actually read this post because I haven't seen the last 2 episodes yet, but Caitlin and I spent the last 2 months getting caught up from season one. LOST IS DIVINITY for the eyes.

Ya we ran out of steam on Battlestar. We need to give it another shot.

Jeff that's great you guys have been doing catch-up. That's the best way to do it, provided you're able to do your job on 3 hours of sleep.

Dean Moriarty, from Kerouac's On The Road, was inspired by Neal Cassady.

In the book, Moriarty had a hobo dad who he's been looking for ever since. He's a pretty manic guy, always on to the next adventure/journey, dragging all sorts of compatriots along.

(Yes. That was a pathetic paraphrase of wikipedia.)

ben is the best. the dude michael emerson that plays him is the best actor on the show. such a great character. ashley loves it when his look turns to a sinister smile right before it cuts. if she had it her way she'd have him to do it in every scene haha anyway, villain vs. villain is always cool. freddy vs. jason? alien vs. predator? benjamin linus vs. charles whitmore? all genius.

He really has become the most complex and interesting character on the show, and it's true villian vs. villian is awesome. I also hope the theory that Ben and Witmore are each other's constant is true. That really makes things interesting.

How about in Freddy vs. Jason (spoiler alert) when Jason has Freddy's decapitated head in his hand at the end, but then Freddy's head winks...come one. That's amazing! I've actually never seen it but Mulcock spent at least a half hour giving me the play by play.

Tyler- Remember when you, Aaron and I saw that and laughed through the whole thing? It was awesome.
