Reconciliation

A major wedge was removed from our marriage this week when after 4 years of convincing Kristin finally tried and acknowledged that the Cafe Rio Barbacoa Pork tastes like it was made by angels.

(While this photo is totally unrelated to the Cafe Rio Restaurant, I think we can both agree that it was the right choice.)

I do agree it is good, but I will testify that you can reach a full tank and turn against the Cafe Rio pork salad. I suggest moderation.

Cafe Rio pork is a slice of heaven. Kristin, I can't believe you waited so long to try it. But I am glad you liked it.

Crazy, crazy Kristin! Finally you've turned from the dark side! I agree, you can overdo it. Silly, stubborn Kristin.

True. Oh, how true.

There is a recipe I use that makes attempts at Cafe Rio pork glory. It's not as good as the real deal, but it is a favorite when the elders come over to eat. We are known throughout the land as the home where missionaries want to "share a spiritual message".

I LOVE pork of any kind. We'll have to take you guys there next time we make one of our frequent (?) trips to Utah.

this surprises me...esp. since the first time i ever saw kristin (not met, but saw) was in line at cafe rio in provo in 2002. she was standing there in line with a friend and i thought to myself, what a couple of stylish, good looking people. so anyways, all those years of cafe rio eating and you just barely tried the pork? i know...so bad for you, but so good.
