More to Fear Than Creepy Robotic Animals...

There was an article in the WSJ today about violence at Chuck E. Cheese's. I've always thought that place felt a little dicey. Apparently I should just be counting my blessings that no one ever pepper sprayed me because I played a game too many times.

Here are a few highlights (I think Michigan takes it):

While we were at CEC for Caitlin's birthday 2 years ago we watched a women beat her child (not just spanking, real beating) while the men pretended nothing was happening. Everyone stood up and started showing them they were calling 911 and child protection services, so they left. But not without telling us all how much they hated us for doing the right thing. I love CEC.

But after a few rounds of skeeball, I had put it all behind us.

Holy canoli. At least it's not as violent as Toys R Us. I hear you can get shot there.

I think Chuck E. and Chucky have more in common than we know...

(Check those IRS records and find out who's REALLY behind this Chuck E. Cheese biz. I think we all know what we'll find.)

Chucky is back!!!

Nothing brings out the Mama bear instinct quite like pizza, stages shaped like cheddar, and actual animatronic bears writhing around a stage with guitars. Don't mess with another person's kid at CEC man.
